Not quite the luxury we expected – a bit grubby and overcrowded, but excellent food and good treatments.

点评：We had a spa day here and overall it was a mixed experience. The staff were excellent and very professional, and the massage itself was very good.
However, the spa felt quite tired and very overcrowded. All the loungers were taken most of the time, with people reserving them with towels while they went to treatments, so we ended up sitting on a bench with ripped leatherette. It felt more like a busy municipal pool than a luxury spa.
After the massage there’s no relaxation area to lie down and unwind – you’re taken straight back through the shop where they try to sell the products used during the treatment, which wasn’t very relaxing.
The outside spa area was also closed, even though it was a warm day and had been forecast as one of the first nice days of the year, which would have helped relieve the overcrowding indoors.
Considering the cost (around £130 for the spa day plus treatments), we expected a much calmer and more comfortable experience. The food and treatments were excellent, but the overall spa environment didn’t quite match the “luxury” expectation.
