Poor staff experience
Jordan Wine Estate的点评
点评：We visited Jordan Wine Estate today and, unfortunately, were extremely disappointed with our experience.
From the outset, the service fell short. While selecting wines for our picnic, we were not informed that the options listed were bottles rather than glasses until after submitting our order, at which point it was too late to amend.
The experience deteriorated further during the picnic itself, when a mouse ran across our legs. We stood up briefly before returning to our blanket, only for it to happen again. When we politely asked staff if we could move, our request was met with laughter and we were told there were no alternative spaces available. When we raised the concern again and asked to sit at a table instead, staff continued to laugh and commented that “it could be worse” and that the mice were becoming “more brave,” which was both unprofessional and dismissive.
After eventually being moved, a different member of staff approached us and questioned whether all the bottles of wine on the table were actually for us, which felt unnecessary and inappropriate.
It’s a real shame, as the setting is beautiful and the food itself was enjoyable. However, the standard of service and handling of what was clearly an uncomfortable situation completely undermined the experience. Sadly, we will not be returning
