点评：What was meant to be a celebratory and memorable luncheon in honour of my daughter’s birthday regrettably unfolded into a deeply disappointing experience.
The establishment itself is undeniably charming, with an inviting ambience and a setting that promises refinement. Unfortunately, the service and cuisine fell far short of the expectations such a venue sets.
From the outset, the service was disjointed and inattentive. Orders were confused and mishandled: one guest received her starter only after the rest of the table had finished theirs, only for it to be abruptly taken away mid-meal due to a forgotten dressing. During the main course, another order was entirely overlooked, compelling one guest to share from another plate—an awkward and uncomfortable situation, particularly given that I was hosting a birthday celebration.
The culinary experience was equally troubling. The octopus salad was frankly inedible, emitting a strong and unpleasant odour that raised serious concerns about freshness. The fish dish was soggy and poorly prepared, offering neither texture nor flavour. Compounding these issues was the persistent presence of flies; we were obliged to replace two drinks after insects landed in them, a lapse in hygiene that is unacceptable for any dining establishment.
Overall, the experience was not only disappointing but also embarrassing as a host on such a personal occasion. While the venue itself holds promise, significant improvements in service standards, food quality, and basic hygiene are imperative before it can be recommended.
