点评:Where shall I start?
Well, first, I think its important to note that I am not an individual who came here with no flight sim experience, I am not a newbie. I came here to put into practice what I have taught myself over the last 5 Years. So, my expectations will have differed from someone trying flight sim for the first time.
My overall experience was good, however, not what I expected. I felt as though the Simulator itself felt very outdated. Not because the 737 is an old aircraft, but because the sim lacked proper functionality and maintenance.
I would also like to mention the 30-minute briefing that’s in the price. Honestly, it is terrible. Its informative, sure. But it is old. Chris, who is voicing over the PowerPoint (Which is all it is) does not seem enthused, the entire video is outdated, poor graphics and genuinely just bad. I was given a TV remote to control the TV volume, this does not control the volume in the slightest as the sound comes from separate speakers.
Motion Sim - I only felt motion when braking and taking off, no turbulence, not side to side. It was very plane and very simply, not to mention the horrible noises that came from the Hydraulics which greatly took away from the immersion and realism. (I have also seen some of the owners replies to reviews about how this system is expensive to maintain, it did not sound maintained.)
Auto Throttle - Not functional.
Yoke - Unbelievably stiff and incredibly difficult to move. Yes, it had some play in it and it was possible to fly, but it was not very comfortable, and that is most definitely not how it is in the real aircraft.
Screens/Windows - From the left seat, you can only see in front of you. Not the left side, not the right side and not even the right seat's front window. Its also important to note that if you bring guests in there with you (£10 Each??) they can not see out the windows unless they put their head on your shoulder. It's completely black, all they see is the laptop screen displaying the sim. Which again is old and out dated.
It just seemed as though the Simulator's maintenance & Quality had been of little importance to FSM and it showed.

First of all, lovely chap and a lot of experience, overall i am pleased with him apart from a few minor issues.
The first one being I felt as though he took over a little too much for my personal liking but was only being helpful. By taking over I do not mean flying in the slightest, he did not touch the control column. I mean the FMS, MCP, Gear & Flaps which in standard real world operation would be correct as well as for someone new to the sim who doesn't understand what all of those do, but for a sim experience I feel as though I should have been able to have full control of what I wanted to do. Its difficult because I could not have done everything by myself, but I feel as though I could have done more.
I made it clear to Phil at the start about my experience level and what I wanted to do in the Sim. Originally, I was ushered away from doing what i had wanted which was to sit the aircraft at the gate and do a complete start-up and taxi out as this is what I enjoyed doing on my home simulator and had practised. I was told what i want to do was fly. So, I did.
I did a few landings and take-offs out of Birmingham, Gibraltar, and Tenerife. And at the end did get to do the startup procedure. But Phil did not un-pause the simulator thus it did not work properly. Which was frustrating. So overall i felt that part of my sim experience had been ruined.
Phil also made it clear the I new more about the aircraft than him, which is fine, but not necessarily something you want to hear from your instructor.
I will be the first to admit my review is picky and sounds completely negative, but i did enjoy the experience of it. Its something i have always wanted to do. I just don't think i left with the level of satisfaction i had hoped for and felt was deserved after the price and anticipation.
For newbies who are looking to fly for fun and just have the experience, i would recommend it. For experienced flight sim enthusiasts i would be careful not to get your hopes to high. Bare in mind I only went on the 737 simulator and the have an a320 and 747 sim. So they may be different.
I hope this review helps customers but also the business. And as a side note to the owner, your customer service skills are abysmal. Some of the comments you have left on reviews that even ever so slightly criticise your company are actually foul. You are blunt and rude. I saw you in your office when I visited your business, and you were in a foul mood then.
