点评：We travelled from Tokyo to Osaka on the Shinkansen and once again came away impressed by just how efficient and enjoyable rail travel can be in Japan.
From the moment we arrived at the station, everything was exceptionally well organised. The platform staff were attentive, professional and meticulous, ensuring passengers boarded smoothly and safely. Despite the number of travellers, the process felt calm and orderly.
The train departed precisely on time and the journey itself was comfortable, quiet and remarkably smooth. The seats were spacious, the carriages spotless, and the entire experience reflected the attention to detail for which Japan is rightly famous.
The highlight of the journey was undoubtedly the spectacular view of Mount Fuji. Seeing Japan’s most iconic mountain rising above the surrounding landscape was a memorable moment and one of the highlights of our trip.
Travelling on the Shinkansen is far more than simply getting from one city to another – it is part of the Japanese experience itself. Fast, comfortable, punctual and impeccably organised, it remains one of the finest rail journeys in the world.
