点评：We got back last night from the Lord of Isles trip to Inverness.
From the moment of walking onto the platform, where Train Manager James warmly greeted us, every staff member went above and beyond.
The train itself was impeccable with nice touches like fresh flowers on the table. The toilets were kept clean all day.
Other comments:
1. The service levels from all staff was very very high.
2. It was nice to have a couple of breaks on the longer travel days to stretch our legs at different stations. Helps to break the journey up.
3. Food was excellent and there was lots of it. I don’t think we had a single issue with any course over the three days.
4. Train Manager was up and down the train all the time to chat with passengers and make sure everything was ok.
5. Inverness is a lovely city, make use of time in it. An extra travel free day in the middle might be a good idea for future trips.
My only criticism, and this isn’t of the train, staff or company. There were passengers who didn’t read the dress code or just didn’t want to follow it. It is such a special experience I don’t know why you would wear shorts or jeans in Pullman class.
