点评:The best experience of our 6 days in Tuscany! Our two families (total group of 8, with 4 kids ages 11 to 19) have been talking about our class with Simone and Luca for days. The quality of the food and the cooking experience was top notch.
We met at the “Hunting Cottage” location, a picturesque outdoor covered terrace amidst the family’s olive trees. It is equipped with everything you need for the perfect summer Tuscan meal. The hospitality was outstanding. Simone and Luca greeted us with an array of freshly made hors d'oeuvres and delicious wine. The fried zucchini flowers were incredible.
The class was fun and entertaining and educational. They answered our questions about local cuisine, olive and wine production and so much more. The pace was relaxed with time for talking and taking in the beautiful countryside between prepping ingredients. You can tell they genuinely enjoy sharing their family’s knowledge of Italian cooking.
The menu we made was pici pasta with fresh pomodoro sauce, rosemary pork tenderloin medallions in red wine sauce, and chocolate “salami” dessert. Wines included a delicious and light Trebbiano, a nice super Tuscan, and a good Chianti.
This cooking experience cannot be beat.
