Great people and boat with unfortunate boarding school cafeteria feel!

点评：We sailed on the Aurea June 2026 from Amsterdam to Basel on the Rhine. Beautiful boat, great team members and great food!
Unfortunately, it felt like every meal was rationed and it was made very clear if we were late for dinner we were inconveniencing them!
Showed up for breakfast at 8:30 and the buffet was running empty (they had no intention of refilling items we did not ask for) and they already started clearing the tables. I had to ask for silverware and instead of setting the table for us they put down a knife and fork. No napkin, no cups, no plate ,,, ! It truly felt like the team is paid a bonus if they limit the amount of food used.
My wife asked for another spring role at dinner one night and was told they did not have extras. Same thing happened at lunch twice, we showed up towards the end of service (30 minutes), and the buffet was out of multiple dishes.
We read similar reviews before booking and management guaranteed us this issue was addressed and no longer happening on Amadeus ships. We were not expecting to see food just wasted but they make it very obvious that priority number ONE is saving food at all costs! Sat at the pool on the last day of cruising and not once did any team member come up to take orders or serve drinks. The knew most of the guests were on the pool deck on the last day and we all wondered why they were not sending servers to take drinks orders???
Very strange behavior from the food and beverage team on this boat .... definitely not accommodating to the guests needs and we felt that they were directed to save money by management!

我们在预订前也看过类似的评论，管理层向我们保证这个问题已经解决，在阿玛迪斯号邮轮上不会再发生。我们没想到会看到食物被浪费，但他们显然把节约食物作为首要任务！在航程的最后一天，我们坐在泳池边，竟然没有一个服务员过来点单或送饮料。他们明明知道最后一天大部分客人都在泳池边，我们都纳闷为什么不派服务员过来点单？
这艘船上的餐饮团队表现非常奇怪……完全不顾及客人的需求，我们感觉他们是被管理层指示要省钱的！
