点评：I would strongly caution anyone considering renting from Mountain Meadows Adventure Rentals in Murphy, Idaho.
We rented a Polaris RZR over the Fourth of July weekend expecting a fun family experience. Unfortunately, what should have been a great trip ended with what I believe was an excessive and unjustified damage bill.
I fully accepted responsibility for the actual damage we caused to the right rear quarter panel/fender after taking a tight corner and laying the side by side over on it's side. However, the company charged us for replacing numerous additional components—including door parts, hinges, decals, and related items—that were not damaged during our rental. Both doors were fully functional when we returned the vehicle, and the only damage we caused was to the rear quarter panel.
What made matters even worse was discovering that the RZR already had visible cosmetic damage before we rented it, including a missing left rear quarter panel/fender and an existing alignment issue with the right rear fender. Despite this, I was billed nearly $2,300, while the itemized repair estimate totaled approximately $1,766.93, and I never received a satisfactory explanation for the discrepancy.
I submitted a detailed, professional dispute letter explaining my concerns, accepted responsibility for the damage we actually caused, and even offered what I believed was a fair resolution based on the actual repairs required. I never received any response. No explanation. No discussion. No attempt to resolve the dispute.
Accidents happen with off-road rentals, and customers should absolutely pay for damage they cause. What they should not expect is to be charged for repairs they believe are unrelated to the damage they caused or to have their legitimate concerns ignored entirely.
My experience left me with the impression that customer service ends the moment there's a dispute. If you're considering renting from Mountain Meadows Adventure Rentals, document every inch of the vehicle with photos and video before leaving the lot, inspect it carefully for pre-existing damage, and be prepared to scrutinize any damage charges.
I will never rent from this company again, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and transparent rental experience.
