I do three hours of yoga and three hours of various meditations every day, and I feel like all the fatigue that has accumulated in my body and mind over the course of my life has been cleansed.
The vegetarian food was delicious and always beautiful, and my caffeine-free, sugar-free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free diet made me feel increasingly lighter both physically and mentally.
The clean and simple room was surrounded by greenery, the sounds of jungle animals and birds were abundant, the fresh air and beautiful scenery meant that I had a very deep and quality sleep.
The yoga teachers and staff at Atmanshree were truly hospitable, and the guests from all over the world were also very warm and friendly, creating a wonderful family-like atmosphere.
I also participated in a three-day sound healing training course. It started with a philosophy lesson on vibrations and sound, and then I repeatedly received and practiced healing with the many singing bowls at Atmanshree, learning the sounds that correspond to my chakras. I was also able to purchase singing bowls at Atmanshree, which I plan to take home and use to start healing in Japan.
I also participated in the 9-day Mardi Himal Yoga & Trek. I did yoga and meditated every morning and evening, and often meditated while trekking. I felt the energy of the Himalayas with every step, and it was the best trek I could have ever taken.
With the warm support of our porter, Ganesh, we managed to reach the 4,200m peak. It was a long-held dream of mine to see Mother Annapurna up close, and it brought tears to my eyes.
It was a truly beautiful month that delighted my soul, and it was so hard to leave.
