More than just a cooking class

点评：My wife and I have taken cooking classes all over the world and we have to put this class at the top. First of all it is so New Orleans, which is to say so friendly. You are invited into the chef’s home and made to feel like you have been friends for quite awhile. The class is only three couples and by the end of the class which was five and a half hours we were all good friends, was like a dinner party. We all helped in making all the dishes, from cutting, chopping and peeling, to adding seasoning, tasting and steering. All the while the chef is talking about why we are doing what we are doing. Also as a group we are all participating in the conversation and drank wine. After finishing cooking all the dishes we sat at the chef’s dining room table and were joined by her husband. We had one of the most enjoyable meals. There was enough food to feed twice as many of us. I’m a pretty good cook, but after this class chef Karen has me on another level.
