点评:I made a booking today for a swan pedalo (unicorn) with my 2 young children. I was advised to use the code on the whiteboard to book, which I did and then one of the staff members (lad in a royal blue tshirt) put my initials on the 4pm slot, and 2 other families also made bookings at the same time and he put their initials in the other 4pm spaces. We were told to come back at 15.55 to pay and board our boat. We sat on a bench nearby and waited for half an hour until our time. We went over to the hut and spoke to a lady who took my payment and then put a life vest on one of my children. At that moment, some more families arrived, one lady also claiming she had also booked the 4pm unicorn boat, and others claiming they had also booked boats, double booking them. The lady dealing with us walked off and started to tie up the canoes, and she sent another girl over. She spoke with the other lady who claimed she was booked on the 4pm boat, and said she was getting to go on the boat, and that there had been some kind of mix up so we would have to be refunded and wouldn't get to go on it. Basically it seems that the board had been wiped at some point, and so multiple bookings had been done for the boats...lot's of unhappy families. We were left standing there confused as the staff all walked off, having paid and having had a life vest placed on one child...eventually a girl came over, and said she would have to refund us, leaving my children in tears. I'm not sure why these bookings had all been accepted using the code, surely it should know when there is no availability so multiple bookings can't be made? The staff all seemed to disappear and pass the buck and place the blame onto eachother, lot's of families left unhappy and confused.
