点评:Do not use Cannon Cars, the management and office do not care about their customers at all! I booked at taxi, to pick me up at 0150 on Saturday 6th December from Gatwick Airport. I checked the app when getting off the plane and it said no driver had been assigned, I naively assumed that this was a mistake and there would be someone waiting in arrivals. After a long and difficult flight, you would expect your driver to be waiting, but there was no one there when we came through to arrivals. I checked the app again whilst we were waiting in arrivals (it was 0150, the time of pick-up) and only then did it say a driver had been assigned and they were currently 1 HOUR AWAY!! I rang the office to query, to which they said “Oh, it shouldn’t be that long, maybe 30 MINUTES!”. If you book a cab for particular time, for the driver to have not even been assigned at the time of pick up is not acceptable! I got told to ring back during the week to speak to management about compensation and a complaint. I did this, I rang back at 11am on Wednesday 10th, someone in the office took my name, number and message and I was told it would be passed to management who would ring me back later that day. Well, it is now 4 days later and still no-one has bothered to ring me. It is quite clear that the management and office staff do not care about their customers or the service they provide. It is a shame, I have used Cannon Cars for over 15 years and the drivers have always been professional and polite. However, over the last year or 2 there has been nothing but problems and delays with pick-ups, all down to management and office staff assigning drivers too late and not caring about the ordinary customer. Unfortunately, I will now no longer use Cannon Cars and will find a reliable, professional and trustworthy cab firm instead.
