This is the only sitdown Filipino restaurant in Jersey City. It is a good option is you dont want a buffet. The lumpia are very good and so is the crispy pata.
When looking for a taste of Filipino food max fried chicken is the choice Pick crispy pata and the canton and get half a chicken meal to savor the taste of Filipino style There's a lot of other native Filipino dishes in their menu as well Don't forget to try their buko pandan and halo halo
We've been coming to Max's for a few years now (most of the stuff actually knows us and our growing family). They are always incredibly friendly. We normally order the kare kare, the chicken, the pancit and the tofu sisig. We always get at least 3 orders of lumpia as it is our kids' favorite. We only order the tofu... 更多
As I remembered from my visits to the Philippines. We ordered off a combo menu that fed 4 adults and a 4 year old with leftovers. Nobody went hungry. Ended the meal with 2 Halo Halo and we were Happy Happy
Max gives me a nice taste of my homeland -- great food and I've never had a bad meal. My mom of course is the best cook and the meals at this place comes a close 2nd to her cooking. Even she likes the food. A bit pricey but worth the expense.

It's been a while since I had filipino food. Their menu has good selections of filipino cuisines. My family and I literally wanted to order everything off their menu. I love their bangus sisig, pancit canton and garlic fried rice. The kare-kare is bland. The chicken is perfect, it reminds me of the way they make it in the Philippines.... 更多

The ground floor does takeout and normal tables, but the upstairs is where the action is. There are... 更多
