This is a must see restaurant on your trip to Traverse City. It is a classic place with great light food and beer.
Treated myself to lunch here alone and won't be back. Waitress ignored me; had to resort to calling out to her several times. The food was nothing special either. Maybe it would have been better with a group of drinking friends?
I took my three daughters here, ages 14,12,11. We had the Brie, hamburger, burrito x2, and shrimp. Our bill was $50. Probably could have eaten cheaper but the fact that this is the oldest restaurant in Michigan drew me in. I was not disappointed. Very cute, friendly, prompt and fun. We did not kiss the moose but here is our... 更多
Glad to have been introduced to this place by a native Michigander. A proud interesting history with genuine decorations and taxidermy . Not really a hole in the wall, it's actually quite large, but the entry section has that kind of feel. Excellent staff. Very good food. Pricey like the chains but is genuinely unique. I look forward to going... 更多
We checked this place out, because of other people from TripAdvisor. It is an interesting place that has kept the older look all this time. The very old bar is interesting. The server was really nice... fun older lady. We ordered a burger to share, because it was supposed to be the best around. For us, it was not the... 更多
There are lots of different things to look at around the building! Fun atmosphere! My husband ordered the Bleu Burger, and it was quite large and very tasty. He was a happy guy! I ordered the steak salad, which was fine but would have been much better if it had different greens instead of mainly iceberg lettuce. We would definitely... 更多
Loved this place!! First off, you can tell the burger is not one of those frozen patties placed on a burner. The burger I got was called the green olive burger which I found out was their most popular. The staff was extremely nice as well as giving great service. The great thing about this place is that you have... 更多
We waited 10 minutes before wait staff approached our table. It took 50 minutes to get our burgers and fries. The fries might have been good when they were warm, but they were cold. The burger was cooked as ordered and very good, but we can get better service with equally good or better food elsewhere.
I had the chili which was very good. For lunch I ordered a sandwich and got something that I didn't order. My son ordered cole slaw and got cottage cheese. I have ate here a few times and the food is always good and service decent. Normally four stars but this time was a let down.
Although we had a large group the service was good. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the place and kissing the moose.
