The sandwiches here used to be great. Not so great anymore. Please bring back the old sandwiches!! Overpriced for what we get now too.
I often work at the railyard adjacent to Al and Joe's so I often am looking for good local eats. This place certainly qualifies. First - it looks like a liquor store, don't be fooled. Second - it is a city deli, those don't come with white linen service so don't expect it. Real people eat here from the airport,... 更多
I stop by Al and Joe's every chance I get. I live in Plainfield and drive to Franklin Park for a large italian. The Food and the people are the best! Thank you Joe for keeping a Chicagoland Tradition alive and well.

I live in the neighborhood and only eat here when I have to. The store is always dirty and needs a makeover. They attempted to make it nicer but they need real work not just paint and cheap flooring. Our 14 yr old picked this place to eat after Mass and what a find!! It's not fancy (think typical NYC deli that is 1/2 grocery store, 1/2 sub shop). The subs were wonderful-I recommend the Italian and the tiramisu was amazing. Great place and the employees were so nice and friendly.
