I've been here three years ago and came back now. Realising that they reuse their satay stick and straws. Totally disappointed and not going to come back here anymore.
The satay place is about 10 min walk from Jonker Street. As it was closed to the shop closing time, we could only tried the pork satay when we visited. I think the satay is rather different from the one we had at home in Singapore. The meat is fresh and not so much marinated. The best is actually the... 更多
This place is relaxed, homely serving freshly made Satay.. Pork, Beef,Chicken.. be warned.. the place gets really full between 12-3pm. A little understaffed so please dont complain about the lateness in cleaning your table. The Satay and sauce is 5* plus.
Heard about this place and decided to make a quick stop to try their pork satay. Ended up having 2 rounds of it! Very simple restaurant where you order at the counter & wait for your freshly grilled satay sticks. They have pork, intestine, liver & chicken. On the side they will come around with the cucumber & onions or... 更多
Pork Satay (per stick) – 0.9 RM ($0.3 SGD) The pork satay is good and combined with small pieces of pork fat in between the meat, makes the overall balance between lean meat and fatty meat (pork fat) just right (not dry or sloppy). The grilled is just nice too (balance) with sufficient smokiness. Is this the best satay I... 更多
Went to try due to the reviews of the special pineapple sauce they used for the satay. Only pork available when I went. The food and sauce are ok and nothing out of the ordinary like other reviewers had described. Perhaps my expectations were raised by the other reviews.
Reached there at about 4pm plus and there was only one table occupied, so the order came pretty fast. Minimum number of satay sticks is 10. RM 0.90 per stick. Pork satay was a bit salty for me but the sourish sauce complements it. Good to try.
I've had great Malay satay in KL, that I thought could never be equalled. Most of the Chinese satay I've had in Malaysia just lacked spice and any distinct flavor, so I'd been neglecting it on my visits to Melaka. Finally cracked, and gave it a shot--and WOW. The pork skewers were suprisingly tasty and spiced but without the Malay... 更多
Went in the late afternoon so not much choice, only pork satay were available. But was pleasantly surprised by how well the salty pork satay went with the pineapple laden peanut sauce.
