This felt like a trip down memory lane....rustic surrounds, ordering food from a counter and the feel of a pub that has been there since forever. Meals were enjoyable and the sweet potato wedges were possibly the best I've ever had.
We had a unexpected stop in Freo and there was a park right out the front so in we went for lunch. Chilli mussels and the good old salt N pepper calamari we chose and weren't disappointed, fresh and tasty. I can happily say that this review is a joy to write as my previous one for Clancy's was one of disappointment. Friends and I like to go along to the Tuesday Night Quiz with the very entertaining Lewis as the host. That's a great way to spend a Tuesday evening. Wow! Paella and beers were fantastic. Paella was a large serving size and piping hot, beers iced cold and also large. The place was very popular and a good crowd in enjoying the food and the live music that was playing. Highly recommend a walk to the pub.
