Had to call in again for this amazing collection of icecreams. Sited on Corso italia is easy to locate. When in for a rum n raisin but had the very unusual licorice. Top marks.

Excellent meal at this restaurant. Had an amazing plate of pasta with seafood. My husband had pasta fagioli which was delicious. Fresh summer salad of tomatoes with slivered onions and borlotti beans. Really nice bottle of white wine and topped off with a very special glass of Grappa.
This place is great for gelatto and pizza, Lots of choice and excellent quality. The staff are friendly, but be aware, they have pizza cookery lessons on some days which means there are a couple of hours where they can't serve pizza.
We were recommended to go to the Bougainvillea by our taxi driver for the best ice cream . So glad we took his advice. Very extensive selection of ice cream and by far the best that we had in Sorrento. We also had a savoury ham and cheese crepe that was delicious too. The gelato in the store is amazing. Lots of favors that are totally authentic. We were coming regularly for a treat and then we found that there was a gelato making class. What fun! Teresa gave a great class in the kitchen where we each had a hand at making gelato.
We return to this shop everytime we are in Sorrento. The selection is the best, some of the favorite Flavors are not found at any other Gelato shops throughout Italy. Wandering around Sorrento we fancied stopping for coffee. We walked into this place, past the wide range of cakes and ice cream and ordered coffee. Cafe is clean, bright and spacious and the food, cakes and ice cream looked good. It was a pleasant place to stop for a quick coffee.
