Noisy, busy, friendly and proper home cooking the way only the French can do it (including the desserts). There are fewer and fewer of these about so this is a gem.

Cosy. Nice waitress with a lot of patience for my bad french. (Her English was worse..). A Clos Salad- very nice and some decent Chablis. The decoration is homemade and fantastic. I just love everything a out the place. Especially after been to a quite too many snobbish places.

Didn't start serving food until 06:30pm - we were invited to have a drink until the chef was ready. Very average food, very salty. The duck confit was a little cold.
Always busy and unless you arrive exceptionally early you will have to join a chaotic queue. Tables are fitted extremely close to each other but non of this detracts from the experience.
