The food was amazing. We were surprised since the waitress told us they mostly serve tourists. This should be filled with locals. Amazing food and great service!
I and dinner last night at Mestizo and it was superb, Javier the chef is the most consistent one in the city. He offers a daily special that is fantastic, I am sorry I did not try the pork belly but the dinners that did raved about it saying it was perfect, it had an almond and apsarragus mole, my... 更多
We thought this little hole in the wall restaurant was extraordinary... We loved the old charm of the building, the wonderful waitress Abby, the food ~ from the carpaccio in green chiles with roasted corn and spices, to the soups ~ cebollo with brandy and my husband's crema de elite, to the salad with beets and asparagus to the grand... 更多

We ate here on the recommendation of Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The ambiance is so so, decor is nice but lighting is a bit bright. The service was terrific and friendly. Highlights were the excellent cevice (mentioned in many reviews), the tortilla soup, and the excellent Salmon with citrus/ginger sauce. Wine list was small but sufficient. Recommended.
Creative menu and a very good food! The ceviche is a must (the best so far we've tasted in Mexico); all the other dishes were also in the higher ground. It should be said that the food is a little bit more expensive than the average places in Guanajuato though...
