Difficult to find the entrance but once in a warm welcome, drink order taken quickly. Good choice of simple dishes for lunch, nicely cooked and served. Would certainly recommend for a snack or lunch.
The lunch I had was simple and very enjoyable. From my understanding this restaurant was also a military hospital for period of time while allied troops held position in Oosterbeek (Market Garden). Memorial artifacts are throughout the restaurant - perfect, prior to visiting the Airborne museum. You can see before and after pictures of this property and the whole area... 更多

We had a 4 day break in the Area for the 72nd anniversary of Operation Market Garden. Schoonoord is the centre of the activity. Excellent food/drink and the service is first class. It get's extremely busy but that is not at the detriment of the service. You must give it a try.
I have been here for a pizza in their take away restaurant. Great service and kindness from the personnel. The pizzaiolo is a real Italian guy. Pizza was ok for Dutch standards.

I ordered lasagna which was very ordinary. Microwaved from frozen. Salad on the salad. My husband ordered stuffed pasta with fish and cheese. It arrived drenched in tomato... 更多
WE were in the town visiting my Uncle's war grave and needed to eat. We had previously visited this restaurant for morning coffee and got directions to the cemetery. The staff are friendly and multi-lingual. The restautrant had been used as an allied military first aid post/ field hospital during WWII
