We chose to stay off Bourbon St. this time, & stayed in Marigny @ this charming guest house just a few blocks off Frenchman St....so very glad we did, the hosts are very warm & gracious, the lodging absolutely charming & peaceful, & your every...更多
Exceptionally clean, with very warm hosts who provided many more thoughtful touches (ie. earplugs, foot-soothing epsom/eucalyptus bath salts, useful phone numbers and travel brochures, great eating recommendations) than any 5 star hotel would. Relaxing backyard to enjoy the beautiful fall weather, 24-hour snacks in a...更多
Halloween is best in the Voodoo capital of the USA. I have stayed at the Cresent City guest house 2 times and it's perfect! 4 separate rooms to pick from, we booked the entire places for 4 couples. It's the only place I'll stay now.
What can I say, everything was just great. Old beautiful house, interesting neighborhood, unbelievably good and friendly service, clean rooms with nice decoration. They really want us to enjoy and we did.
My Daughter and myself were looking for accommodation in the heart of the old part of New Orleans rather than the main area with all the large hotels, and came across the Crescent City Guest House, after some exchange of emails we booked for 3...更多
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
