O2 Fakarava的点评
点评：We sailed to Fakarava via the Windstar Breeze and stopped in Fakarava on April 18th. I’m PADI advanced certified, my husband is Master diver, but I’m a nervous diver and only had 4 dives in the past year-the month prior to this trip. I was VERY nervous about the current and the advanced nature of the dive, so I wanted a private guide. Windstar would not tell us what company they use, so we booked independently through O2 Fakarava. It’s the most we’ve spent on 2 tanks but was worth every penny. They picked us up at the tender dock. 12 min ride to the North Pass. 1st dive was on the reef and it was amazing! Large Wrasse, sharks, beautiful fish…no appreciable current. Served yummy warm cinnamon tea and coffee cake during the surface interval and then we dove the pass during slack tide. We had a regulator issue so had to surface to change out (our regulator from home). Theo did a great job in what I think was a little bit of a scary situation. Went down again to see a carpet of sharks — so many! Current got stronger as the dive went on and at the end, I didn’t love it - but having Theo there made me comfortable. The water was warm (84 degrees) - I get cold usually - but in a 3mm I was super warm.
Theo speaks English very well, the whole crew was super nice/helpful, their rigid zodiac boat was comfortable and while the there were waves in the lagoon I was never queasy. I HIGHLY recommend O2 Fakarava and I’m so happy I was able to enjoy this fantastic location.
