点评：We spent a wonderful day on Day Escape, their 36ft electric narrowboat. The boat is for 10, but it was just the two of us.
On arrival we were shown clear instruction on a video, before their engineer gave us demonstration of workings, took us toward to a turning point, then gave me the tiller to see how I was. Once I demonstrated I was vaguely competent, he jumped off and we were away.
We took a leisurely cruise towards Broken Cross, mooring a couple of times for early lunch and an afternoon tea, before returning the boat. I ran the boat singlehanded, though my wife was Chief Stew, with coffee and lunch prep.
The boat was well appointed with a kettle, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and stemware; tea towels, washing up liquid, and a sponge also provided so you can wash up any bits you bring, along with any bits on the boat. There's seating inside, outside under a cover, and fully outside. There's also a simple foot operated toilet for those moments of privacy.
All in all, a fabulous day, helped with beautiful spring weather. Well worth a go!
