Great potential but room for improvement.
Fairhill Native Botanic Garden的点评
点评：We're locals to Fairhill and frequent it regularly with our kids.
There is a lot of potential here but it's rough around the edges and feels unfinished.
I wish more attention to detail was given to the Fairy Walk trail to make it actually a fairy trail for the kids instead of laminated pictures of fairies. Fairy figurines, toadstools, fairy houses etc hiding along the path would make it much more magical than what it is and keep the kids engaged.
The farm animal tour is a firm favourite and never fails to disappoint, this is a wonderful idea and the adult ticket exchange for a plant is so welcome.
It would be great to see the area underneath the big fig tree by the outdoor seating more established with perhaps some simple nature inspired play equipment for the kids to get imaginative with. Again - so much potential there but left lacking.
The coffee is great, the food is basic - highlighting the excellent local produce on offer and recreating the menu to be more inventive would be welcome. We don't go there for the food but Fairhills could be a fantastic foodie hub.
We'll keep supporting because we love it as our local but there is definitely room for improvement and making it something truly wonderful.
