Homestay: I stayed with Roxy! She's a sweetheart and is an amazing cook. Her house was only a ~12-15 min walk to the school.
The school: The school is nice, comfortable and clean. The classrooms are comfortable and have windows to allow the fresh air in. There is a good amount of extra curricular activities to do depending on how extraverted you are.
Class: 8am-noon. Class was entertaining and I learned a lot. We learned a topic and then spend time asking/answering questions. Kevin is a great instructor and very patient.
Staff: Very friendly. They seem genuinely happy to be there.
Dani will help with questions you will have. You would think she's A.I. because she knows so much.
Tips
- Download and set up WhatsApp before you arrive
- Bring comfortable footwear
- Don't assume a place accepts credit card. Ask first or look for signs
- For restaurants, service charge is already included so tip is already included
- Have fun, be respectful and enjoy your time there
