Average walk, with lots of waiting time before the start of the activity
Taman Negara Canopy Walkway的点评
点评：This canopy walkway is a new-ish attraction that has opened a few month earlier (so we are told). The earlier Canopy walk was deemed unsafe, and has now been closed.
For this new canopy walk; you cannot just show up and buy a ticket. You need to go thru a guide or resort who will organise it for you.
Our group arrived at the site at 9:00 am; our guide tola us we were 8th in queue. We were allowed to start the walk at 10:30 am. (The walk only opens at 9:30am). Our guide told us that in some days, the wait is up to 4 hrs!!
It is an ok walk, strictly managed by staff on each platform to ensure people maintain a distance of about 10m between each other. This is to ensure that too many people do not get on the suspended walk at the same time (safety issue)
There are 15 platforms in total, with steps in some places, and the walkway suspended between platforms
If you have been on other rain forest canopy walks, this is very similar; and definitely not worth the hour or more wait time.
Our resort charged us RM 60 / person; and given all the waiting around, I don't think it is worth that amount. Other resorts might be priced differently
