Tough luck if you’re in group 5

点评：I was really looking forward to this. I booked well over a month before the tour only to arrive on the night and discover that there were 5 groups running that night and I was in group 5 and would have to wait til last.
Nothing at the time of booking said that there would be 5 groups or that I be placed in the last group. This means waiting until every other group has been through and then cross your fingers that there will be more than 4 turtles that night.
In practice, this means arriving at 6pm, sitting in a waiting room until 11.30pm and then going home having seen nothing.
It’s really disappointing to book ahead and travel somewhere to see something and then find out that there were hidden terms to your booking that mean the ticket you purchased is not the same as the ticket someone else purchased but got lucky to be placed in the first group.
If I had known at the time of booking that I would be placed in the last of 5 groups, I wouldn’t have booked.
It should be very clear when you book what group you will be in and what that means in terms of your wait time. A ticket in the last group is not worth the same as a ticket in the first group and they should at the very least be upfront about what group they will put you in before you purchase the ticket.
Because as it is, it’s basically a lottery, where you hope they put you in a group that won’t sit around for 5 or 6 hours and then get sent home.
