The most fascinating and interesting 4 days with an exceptional tour guide

点评：Mohan was the best tour guide (and driver) we have ever had, anywhere in the world! We had 4 days with him and couldn't recommend him more highly. He listened to what we wanted to do, and made sure we did all of it, whilst also taking us to places we hadn't heard of and would never have known about too. We had the most fascinating day touring around Jaffna itself, learning about its culture, colonial history and of course about the civil war. We loved our day travelling out to Delft Island, on a private boat Mohan had arranged at a very reasonable cost, and with a jeep waiting for us when we arrived to take us around the island. Our journey down to Trinco via the Elephant Pass was also fascinating. In short, we truly loved Jaffna and the north, and an enormous part of that was down to being lucky enough to have Mohan show it to us. Mohan is so intelligent and knows so much but he never tells you more than you want to know, whilst always being ready to tell you more if you ask. That is a rare and special skill in a guide. He is also extremely kind and funny. He took us to exactly the places we said we wanted to go to for lunches (e.g. a local dosa restaurant) and always managed to find us a decent toilet when we needed it! Thank you so much for a memorable few days Mohan!
