Possibly the best experience of animal interaction in my life
Elephant Sanctuary The Crags的点评
点评：We stayed on one of the rooms on site prior to our experience day. The room was basic but clean, no air con but manageable with fans. There is not any catering on site (the room had a fridge) so it's out for dinner and breakfast (not a problem).
The actual experience was amazing, something we'll never forget. The elephants, the handlers and our ranger were perfect. We were absolutely lucky enough (having stayed on site) to book the first experience of the day and much to our surprise the whole thing was just for the two of us so no rushing on this one!
I'd assure you that the elephants at the sanctuary are truly saved from one issue or another, they are alive due to them being taken in and although they have been conditioned / trained to expect some of the human interactions, I have no worries about how the animals have been treated to get them this far.
The gift shop is well stocked and I wouldn't say expensive. The video of the experience was so inexpensive that it was a no-brainer to buy, my only criticism would be that the link to the download expires in a short 4 days, but, if like us you don't have the facility to download while travelling you can either ask for an extension or forward to to a friend or family and ask them to download it for you.
