点评：After trying mead for the first time at DoG Street Pub, we decided to visit the meadery. This was probably one of the most surprisingly enjoyable things on our trip. You can either do a flight of meads or opt for a select tasting (or both!) We chose to do the tasting which included a honey tasting. I'm not big into honey, but thought, Why not? That was the most enjoyable part for everyone in my family of 4. Joanna led us through the tastings, was very knowledgeable and great personality. I never realized how different honey could taste! I bought a jar and it is almost gone (remember I am not a honey person). Good relaxing time and makes you appreciate bees all the more. Tastings were $15pp which is very reasonable since it isn't just the honey but a good education as well. (can also opt to do just the honey if you have kids/nondrinkers with you but I don't remember the price). Would probably go again and do just the honey portion. Of course at the end, you can buy mead, honey and other products like soap but they are not pushy at all. And during the tastings, they give you a cheat sheet to describe the unique qualities of each offering and you can make notes which ones you liked. Very well done.
