Awaze Tours的点评
点评：We took a two-day tour in Lalibela and had a wonderful time. We happened to be there on the 19th of January, which is Timkat in Ethiopia (a celebration of Epiphany).
We joined a large crowd marching in festivities towards the ritual site. We also attended an early morning prayer. It was a life-time experience. We also visited churches in Lalibela.
Our guide Setegne was friendly, caring and knowledgeable. The trip was well-organised, and Habte from the office always responded to my emails promptly.
Ethiopia is a unique country - not similar to any country I have ever visited (and I travel often). The landscape is breath-taking, the food is tasty (we loved injera), people are stunningly beautiful and calm, and I liked the way they kept their culture, not influenced by western lifestyle (for example, I did not see a single McDonald or KFC in this country).
I strongly recommend anyone to see this beautiful country through Awaze tours.
