Outstanding Guide for a Multigenerational Family Trip

点评：We had an absolutely fantastic multigenerational trip around Iceland’s stunning south coast, and Bjarni from Deluxe Iceland was a huge part of what made it so special.
From the very beginning, he thoughtfully balanced everyone’s different interests and abilities. He found the perfect mix of shorter walks for my mother-in-law while suggesting longer hikes for those of us who wanted to be a bit more adventurous. No one ever felt left out, and everyone had an amazing experience.
Bjarni was always happy to stop whenever we spotted Icelandic horses along the road, which became one of our family’s favorite memories. He also helped with restaurant reservations throughout the trip, making everything feel effortless.
One gesture that especially stood out was at the geothermal bakery in his childhood hometown. Because he knew the bakery so well, he arranged for them to make a vegan loaf of their famous geothermal bread especially for our daughter. It was absolutely delicious and meant so much to us. Throughout the trip, he was incredibly attentive to our family’s dietary requirements and never once made us feel like our requests were inconvenient.
Beyond that, Bjarni is simply a pleasure to travel with. He’s an excellent driver, calm, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely accommodating. We always felt safe, relaxed, and well looked after.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would recommend Bjarni and Deluxe Iceland without hesitation. If you’re looking for a personalized, flexible, and memorable Iceland experience, you won’t be disappointed.
