点评:have been a member for 2 years but fell into financial troubles due to losing my job. Asked Horizon to freeze my account for a period of 4-6 months to reflect the change in financials but declined, stating terms and conditions on website which were not explained at all during sign up.
They then came back and tried to pass the buck to the company who look after their Direct Debits, but I had to remind them my contract was with Horizon, not their 3rd party payment supplier.
I've repeatedly requested this to be escalated in line with their complaints proceedure, but as of yet no response from Brooke on this matter. So far its been 11 days and still counting!!
Really disappointing and a perfect example of short sightedness. I had every intention of staying with them after some respite to reassess all non essential outgoings. Now however, I have no choice but to adhere to the contract but will be taking my business elsewhere upon completion. I would strongly advise others to consider this when looking to join Horizon Leisure Centre!
