Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve的点评
点评：We visited Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve from Denver, and the drive took around four hours. The entrance fee to the national park is $25 per vehicle.
Besides the famous sand dunes, you can also visit Zapata Falls and do several hiking trails around the area.
One of the most popular things to do is hike to the highest point of the dunes, which is exactly what I did. There are quite a lot of people visiting the park, especially near the main dune area, but the landscape is still incredibly impressive because of how विशाल and unique it feels.
When we visited, it was extremely windy, and that’s definitely something to keep in mind. I highly recommend bringing a jacket or something that can also cover your ears and part of your face, because when the wind gets strong, the sand goes everywhere and can become pretty uncomfortable — and even a bit dangerous.
Still, it is absolutely worth visiting. The scenery is spectacular, completely different from anywhere else in Colorado, and incredibly photogenic.
