One of the Most Beautiful Waterfalls in Cherapunjee 🌿💫

点评：While returning from The Garden of Caves, Cherrapunji, I suddenly noticed Wah-Kaba Waterfall written on a board.
As they say, “God’s plan is the best one of all.” So was our story of reaching Wah-Kaba Falls. I honestly didn’t know about that place earlier but decided to visit there once I found it. First, I bought a ticket of 30 rupees. My mother was also very excited. Basically, it was a small to medium trek or hike of around 1,200 stone steps. On other words, you have to hike almost 1,200 steps down to reach the waterfall.
The path is nothing less than a picturesque view you might imagine in your dream. I had seen clouds floating all around. I looked at the horizon. From there, you can clearly see the canyons as well. It was all green — the lush green East Kashi Hills. There, you might not get any network. But don’t worry! The sound of waterfall will guide you for sure. Then, my mother and I finally reached there. From there, the view was so mesmerising. Even, if you love photography, your storage might not support you. The mountains stretching the horizon, the waterfall, the small natural pool with crystal clear water — everything wrote nothing less than a beautiful poetry.😍🍃
So, although it is not very popular or touristy, you must visit there. But, make sure you’re fit to cross 1,200 steps down and up. And then, you’ll never forget the beauty.
✨Pro tips :
✅ Wear comfortable shoes or sneakers. Because the stone steps are slippery due to heavy rainfall.
✅ Carry an umbrella [ unpredictable weather] and a water bottle.
✅ Don’t go close to the safety barriers or the fence because the cliffs are so steep.
✅ I found the waterfall not so crowded. But for best view, you can visit early in the morning or late noon. Remember, after 4 p.m. most of the places in Sohra becomes so foggy.
