Disappointing Bus Transfer on Grand Canyon Railway

The bus transfer from Grand Canyon National Park to Williams on the Grand Canyon Railway was ruined by constant, loud metal rattling from the wheelchair ramp. The intense noise and vibration made conversation impossible and left us mentally exhausted and physically rattled by the end of the hour-long ride.
Huge praise for our excellent driver, Captain Kirk — friendly, professional, and made us feel safe.
Xanterra Corporate called to apologize but hadn’t watched the videos I sent and assumed it was road noise. That only added insult to injury.
This is a simple maintenance fix. Securing the ramp (or even providing earplugs) would make a big difference. Everything else about the Grand Canyon Railway experience was wonderful — this one issue really detracted from an otherwise memorable trip.
I hope the team secures the ramp soon, because the rest of the Grand Canyon Railway experience is wonderful and this detracted from an otherwise memorable day.
