点评：This was a gift voucher bought for us as a Christmas present and as we hadn't been to anything like this before we weren't sure what to expect. However from the welcome when we arrived it was a lovely, relaxed afternoon. English Oak Vineyard is set in gorgeous Dorset countryside a few miles borth west of Poole, hidden away along narrow lanes. The vineyard, on a farm, is run by Andrew and Sarah and their tour and presentation was full of things of interest to any wine buff (which we definitely aren't!) but doesn't talk down to us novices. They were knowledgable and enthusiastic about their wines - rightly so - and obviously enjoy their lifestyle. After an introduction by Andrew, we were shown around some of the 23,000 vines by Sarah before they came together to present a tasting of some of their award-winning sparkling wines. The two hour tour and tasting probably lasted more like 2 and a half hours and it flew by. We purchased a bottle for an anniversary later in the year but there was no real sales pitch or pressure to buy. Our voucher was from Buyagift but tours can be booked directly. We can thoroughly recommend both the tour and the wines.
