点评：We spent 5 days with Ruwan and his driver doing different tours (Yala, Bundala, the lakes). We are nature photographers and birdwatchers so we did private tours to get a tailored experience for our interests. It was the experience of a lifetime!
We saw 4 leopards (one just 15 meters away on the road!), elephants with little ones, mongoose (including the rare striped-necked mongoose), a mousedeer, Sri Lankan Jackal, crocodiles, monkeys, deer and many many birds (fishing owl, owlet, Indian Pitta, blue faced malkoha, Indian Roller, etc). And on top of all that we saw 4(!) fishing cats - one was less than 8m away!
Ruwan is extremely knowledgeable and very respectful towards nature. He has a great eye to spot animals but on top also can read their behavior very well and often predicts their next move (like giving an elephant space with the jeep to step out on the road from the vegetation). And he is such a great guy to be around as well.
We had a fantastic time and got so much more as we ever hoped for - thank you for this incredible experience! It was a joy and pleasure to spend these 5 days together and we will never forget it. And we are definitely planning on coming back!
This was the perfect choice for Yala and surroundings - highly recommended!
