点评：This is a mountain station (2939m) and alpine activity hub in between Zermatt town centre (1620m) and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise station (3883m).
Here visitors make direct interchange from the Matterhorn Express gondola (Zermatt-Trockener Steg) to the large 3S cable car (Trockner Steg-Matterhorn Glacier Paradise) or make longer stop at the station which has a cafe, toilet facilities and a large outdoor terrace with remarkable views of the alpine landscape and Matterhorn. There is also a small exhibition gallery (InfoCube) where you can learn about local outdoor. tourism history and the engineering marvels of the 3S cable car.
During summer months, Trockener Steg is a popular stop for hikers taking to the trails in the area. We recently stopped here and completed the Matterhorn Glacier Trail down to Schwarzsee, a scenic mostly downhill hike of 6.7 km, allow a few hours for frequent photo stops.
