点评:Peel Forest was one of my favorite discoveries during my time in New Zealand. While the giant trees are impressive, the real highlight for me was the Fern Track. Walking beneath the canopy of ferns and native forest felt almost magical, and it quickly became less of a hike and more of a treasure hunt. I found myself slowing down to look for mushrooms, interesting plants in the small detail details that are easy to miss when you’re focused on reaching a destination. Every turn seemed to reveal something new. The forest is peaceful, beautiful, and has that special feeling that makes you want to linger rather than rush through. I enjoyed it so much that I returned more than once during my stay in Geraldine. If you love, nature, photography, or simply wandering through a lush native forest, don’t miss the Fern Track. It was one of the most memorable walks in my entire New Zealand trip.
