点评:The website said it was open from 12 - 5 today but when I arrived there was a note on the door stating it was closed for Jan as the owner was on holiday. As I was standing in front of the door trying to find something else to do on TripAdvisor, the door opened and the owner ushered me in. and I’m so glad he did, I would have been really sad to have missed out on this one!
He put all the lights on and started up some traditional music and I wandered around looking at the displays using the Google translator app to read the info boards.
As I was passing a board with a horse shoe on it, the owner was trying to tell me something repeatedly so I used the app and he was able to explain that I need to stroke the horse shoe, hold it, and make a wish, which I did and then he encouraged me to use the app so he could give me some background and history. He’s very passionate about the topic and has many beautiful items that have mostly been donated to his museum. He then said I must put a costume on and he’ll take pictures and it was no additional cost to do so. He took a heap of pics, and I love them! 🤩 The skirt and top weigh 5kgs, and consist of a huge amount of material. The visit was only 150 Rubles excluding tip, and well worth it!
