点评：Ao Chaweng Yai is the main stretch of Chaweng Beach on Koh Samui, and it’s one of those places that instantly feels like a tropical holiday classic. The beach is long, wide, and sandy, with soft pale sand and shallow water that’s easy to paddle in, making it a good option for families as well as couples.
What makes Ao Chaweng Yai stand out is how convenient yet scenic it is. You’ve got palm trees, sun loungers, and clear sea views, but you’re also just steps away from hotels, cafés, beach clubs, massage huts, and shops.
You can find almost everything you'd want at Chaweng - quieter spots the more South you go, and livelier spots with water sports as you head North. We have done a real mix during our visits to Chaweng (the first of which was in 2016). No matter where we end up, we always end up coming back to one of our favourite beaches: Chaweng.
