点评：I arrived with my sister after our driver, who was supposed to take us to Kandy, recommended this place to us. At first, we were fascinated by the size of the artworks displayed in front of the shop, so we stopped to take a look.
The shop is huge and offers a wide variety of handmade products, according to the other reviews, although I did not have the opportunity to verify this myself. The only downside, and a significant one, is the prices. A small wall-hanging statuette, no bigger than my hand, costs $60. Small figurines supposedly intended to bring good luck and ward off the evil eye, which can be found all over Sri Lanka, cost $30 each. A small ashtray, smaller than the palm of my hand, costs $100.
I understand that craftsmanship comes at a price, if that is indeed the case, but the prices charged are exorbitant considering the local cost of living. A small ashtray costing the equivalent of a month and a half of an average local salary clearly suggests that this seller is inflating the prices considerably and profiting from Western tourists.
Avoid this place. You can find the same items in other shops nearby at much more affordable prices.
