Amazing cinema with a really grand architecture!

点评：Palazzo is my all-time favourite cinema because of the BEAUTIFUL "foreign" architecture which I don't think I could find ANYWHERE in India! Once you enter the cinema for the first time, you'll be IMMERSED with the architectural walls, grand chandelier and a ROYAL view of the multiplex! These guys really tried its effort to represent an old Italian architecture on a cinematic scale, and I must say they've done a really good job coz I REALLY, really love this place, man. Lately, I went to IMAX theater to watch a new movie named "Inside Out 2", and while the IMAX experience was pretty good, I REALLY wanted to go outside and see the architecture while I was watching the movie. To me, walking around the cinema lobby feels more like walking around a GRAND Italian palace!
Even though I LOVE this place so much, I only rated this cinema 4/5 because Palazzo was even better 5 years ago than today. The translucent ceilings were pretty dirty unlike before and ever since PVR took over the cinema, prices got more expensive and there has been sponsors which does NOT match the real beauty of the cinema's architecture! Also, La Piazza (which is kind of a royal-themed restaurant located at the opposite end of the cinema's entrance) seems to be out of existence as they removed chairs while it still says, "La Piazza". Man, I really miss La Piazza as I went there and ate some food and was immersed by the architecture while sitting in a ROYAL chair!
Otherwise, I would've DEFINITELY rated this cinema 5/5! I still love this place so much, and I hope it will last for as long as I get the chance to go to the Nexus Vijaya mall in Vadapalani, Chennai! Palazzo really is, a "Grandeur on a Cinematic Scale"!
