Fantastic Trip to Gobi Desert

点评：If you want a close to authentic experience in Mongolia (specifically Gobi), I very much recommend Sunpath. I went for a 6-days group tour around the Gobi desert with the nomad family option where I stayed with nomad families throughout the tour. There is another mixed option where you would stay with nomad families on some nights, and tourist camps on other nights.
I planned my trip (early Sept 2025) since the year before and Doljmaa answered to my questions via email. If you are in urgent need of answers, I recommend texting her via WhatsApp.
Throughout the trip, our guide (Dawaa), driver (I forgot to ask for his name!) and cook (Baskaa) took care of us. There were very nice and helped us out a lot, translated questions for us to ask our hosts, mostly about what they do and their routine and also traditions. They also taught us how to make Mongolian fried dumplings (khuushuur) on one of the nights. Fun experience all around; I enjoyed the trip so much and look forward to another trip to Mongolia soon.
