点评:When asked to name the main public square of any Spanish town, you will almost always get the right answer just by saying Plaza Mayor. And so it is in Segovia. Whilst the aqueduct will always take the Segovia limelight, the town's main square (about 10 minutes walk from the aqueduct) has nevertheless been the bustling cultural, social and economic hub of this charming town for centuries. Surrounding this town square are several numerous buildings of unique architectural styles that reflect the different eras from Romanesque to Renaissance, but none is more dominating than the imposing 16th-century Gothic-styled Segovia Cathedral. Undoubtedly, it is a lovely place that is worth to while away our time, but unfortunately, when we only have a few hours in Segovia, more time would be allocated to the spectacular aqueduct.
