Lots to do. Jerry Boat for boat trips out, good price and lovely food. There's horse riding locally, you end up at the beach at sunset. There are lots of great restaurants I would recommend, Meeting Point on the main road, Sunset in front of Güneş (hotel is recommended too) Charcoal palace, best fish and chips. Çalış Indian curry house next to sunset. Er-Oz, make a lovely creamy chicken and mushroom with rice. The traditional Grill house called Mehtap at the roundabout on the main road is great, (take into account you get lots of mezes free as starters when ordering.) There are great options everywhere, even if you're vegetarian. The locals are very friendly. Prices are good. Take in the markets. Çalış on Sunday, fethiye on Tuesday. The little white mini buses (Dolmuş) cost about 71pence. Çalış water taxi goes into fethiye also, we go on the bus and come back on the boat. You can use your card on them and in most restaurants and supermarkets. The local hospital is excellent if you need it as well as the pharmacy's. We stay at either Güneş or Remer. Both highly recommended. Good jeweler is Safirgoldsmith Kürsat which is down near charcoal palace on a left side turn that goes into a little square off the main road. I'd recommend Trendy on the right hand side for quality clothes, bags and watches. (See Mohamed.) I'd recommend Holident for anything teeth related. I've used them for the past 8 years. (Implants a third of the price of English dental work) Lycian D spa and Turkish bath in Hisarönü (they come and fetch you and bring you back) that's it for now. Xx
