Not a professionell diving Center, its a Tour Office
Split Diving的点评
点评：The so-called “Split Diving Experience/Center” is not a dive center in Split Harbour, but just a travel agency. The real dive shop is actually an Independent one in Trogir – a 40-minute (30 km) drive away – something never mentioned on their website or in the booking confirmation. They lure customers in with a Split address suggesting they are a Dive Shop in Split.
They're Price for 1 Dive per Person: 115€
Price in the Trogir Dive Shop for the same: 40€
We tryed calling Upfront inquiring about Dive Location, Possibility to bring own equipment, and the need for Single or Double Valve Configuration. (Which could have prevented this disaster)
They werent able to Answer any of it and only pointed us back to the website.
So we paid €120 upfront for a reservation. Once in Split, we discovered that bringing our own equipment would be rather difficult or near Impossible, as there are no Parking Spots near the Meeting Point. Trying to make the best of it, we discussed even driving to Trogir ourselves, which would have completely ruined the day plan for our non-diving group member, which planned on visiting Split, and was the reason we chose the "Dive Shop" there.
What made it even worse was that we drove past the Trogir Dive shop on the Way to Split.
Additonally at the Travle Agency, they suddenly demanded €150 in cash, even though the booking confirmation clearly stated €115. When we explained the inconvenience and misleading information, they refused any compensation in form of a small Disscount. After this we decided to Cancel, they became rude, still demanded the €150 in cash, and even threatened us with an extra fine – despite already having our €120 reservation.
For comparison: one dive with cylinder, air, lead, and boat ride at the dive center itself costs only €40 per person.
Bottom line: misleading advertising, hidden costs, rude behavior, and threats. Stay away – this is a scam.
